“The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,
But in ourselves, that we are underlings.”

There is a great temptation for those who follow astrology to evade the responsibility of free choice.  Each of us is a soul, with an attendant body; and that soul chose THIS life, with all its circumstances and personnel.  After that it was up to us.

We make our lives.  Sure, we are shaped by what we experience; but it is what we elect to make of the material we were given that determines our lives.  Not stars; not planets; not asteroids.  We alone bear that weight.

Personal responsibility.

The stars—and planets—are a mirror.  WE get to choose what we do with the material we came in with.  And that, my dears, is depicted in our charts.  What we do with it—at any given point—is up to us.  Our charts can give us guidance—and intelligence about the astral weather to come—but we alone must make the decisions, and we alone must live with them.  Astrology is a powerful tool; and power demands responsibility from each of us.

But isn’t it wonderful that we DO have charts to guide us–?
